As I quickly approach becoming an "official" senior, I often think back to the different fitness crazes I had the opportunity to sample.  Who doesn't remember Jane Fonda, dancercise, aerobic fitness and Billy Banks?  Yes, I did them all.  I also took up weight lifting after child number 3 and sprinkled a goodly amount of long distance running throughout my motherhood years.  Over the years. I have fallen off the fitness wagon quite a few times, but it was just before I retired that I realized that I needed to kick my own butt into gear and get myself back on that wagon so I could avoid becoming a slothful retiree.  As a life long learner, it only made sense to gain as much knowledge as I could in order to provide my clients with pertinent information about a variety of ways to stay active and healthy.  Becoming a BCPRA Fitness Leader was the logical choice.
